Arjowiggins manufactures and sells key abrasive backings used for the production of coated abrasive products of various shapes (discs, sheets, pads, rolls, flap wheels, narrow, wide or sectional belts...).
Coated abrasives are used to sand or polish materials in wet or dry operations in many industrial sectors such as automotive, aeronautics, furniture, wood, metal or building industries.
As a consequence of the diversity of sanding requirement, there are various backing types which are existing on the market : paper, cloth, film, vulcanized fiber, non woven or a combination of these materials.
